The Philosophy of the Calvary Youth Ministry is Up>In>Out
We must look UP… We will learn who God is in Jesus by engaging our bible, prayer, and spiritual formation. Every person on Earth imitates who they spend time with – we think Jesus is a good person to spend time with.
We will look IN… We will look into our hearts, we will look into our church, our family, our friendships and we will pay attention to the guiding and leading of the Spirit for our lives and our relationships.
We will look OUT... We will look into the needs of our community, where can we serve, learn and heal. We will aim to “love out loud.” God’s command to His people in Jeremiah 29:7 says, “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city…. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."
We don’t want to be a church that sits on a corner; we want to be a church that changes the corner on which it sits.
